Treasure in the Fields

Sakharam is a farmer in a small village. He has a kind wife by name Laxmi. They have four lazy sons. Sakharam is worried about his sons but Laxmi is confident that her sons would work when the time came.
Soon after Sakharam falls ill. He calls his sons and tells them that they do not have to worry. He tells the four that he has buried treasure in four parts all over the field. The farmer dies soon after. The four sons start digging enthusiastically, dig the whole field over four days but find no treasure.
Laxmi then tells them to sow the seeds next, which they agreed to. That year the rains are good and they have a rich harvest and made a lot of money.
Laxmi then explains to them the meaning of the treasure under the field that their father had told them about. The sons then accept that they have understood the meaning and importance of hard work.

Moral of the Story: Hard work always leads to success.
